NOTES
These All-Time Rankings are generated from the Rankings database. The Rankings database contains performances that equal or better the Surrey standard for the event. You can choose to display either the Top 10 or the Top 25 or the Top 50 or the Top 100 performers in an event. In some events we do not have 100 performers who have achieved the standard in which case only those achieving the standard will be shown. To add records to the Rankings database we have had to refer to old paper records which do not necessarily show complete details. Prior to 1990 it was common for listings not to show an athlete's first name in full. This makes it difficult to determine whether athletes with similar names are different people or not. Also the old Surrey rankings lists did not show the venue. Those athletes for whom we have a date of birth have been given a profile which links together their performances - these athletes are shown in blue and underlined. Because of missing data we rely upon you to provide this information so that the database is as complete as possible. To produce a list suitable for printing click on the red 'HIDE MENU BUTTONS' at the top right of the screen.
